Trevor Rizun

Certified since my twenties through the BCRPA, with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and the CSCS* credential from the NSCA — the gold standard in strength and conditioning. The education matters, but the experience is what shapes how I train you.

Three decades under the barbell. Ten years in the boxing ring. A decade of trail running and over twenty-five ultra marathons. I’ve pushed my own body through every phase of endurance and strength, so I know what it takes to build both — and how to keep you training hard without breaking down.

Psychology degree means I understand the mental side too: the habits, the setbacks, the mindset that actually sticks. Training isn’t just sets and reps. It’s showing up when it’s hard, and I know that world from the inside.

Rizun's Resilience Therapy

Trevor Rizun — BA Psychology, Athabasca University. Strength and conditioning specialist, ultramarathon runner, boxing coach, and resilience consultant.

Mission: To help people build resilience through the integrated training of body and mind — measurable, trainable, and grounded in real life.

What I offer: In-person and online consulting covering cardiovascular fitness, strength training, nutrition, and nature-based recovery. Wearable data — HRV, resting heart rate, sleep — guides the work, so progress shows up in the numbers, not just the feelings.

My perspective: Resilience isn’t a mindset you think your way into. It’s built through training, fuel, and nature-based interventions — and it’s strengthened by the people around you. I bring the research, the experience, and the accountability.

What sets me apart: Most programs train the body or the mind. I train the central nervous system — the connection between them. Wearables, HRV, and recovery tracking make that connection visible, so the work is measurable, not mystical.
